Welcome to Tech for Luddite's first entry!

My main objective with this blog is to try to help people use technology more effectively and solve some of those frustrating problems we all run into at some point. And while I have no shortage of ideas from my own experiences, I want to make the site as useful as possible to my visitors.

So, if you've got some pressing issue with your own tech tools (or even just one niggling thing that's been bugging you for years), please send me an e-mail at F1@TechForLuddites.com.

If I know the answer off the top of my head, I'll post it as soon as possible. If not, I'll do some research and, if I still can't find a solution, I'll post your question here to see if anyone else can help.

Note that there are some tech-related areas that I have absolutely NO knowledge about, like video games. The last one I played was Space Invaders, and I'm thinking that's not quite so state-of-the-art now. :) So for those questions, you're probably better off going to a site dedicated to gamers.

Likewise, I won't be of any assistance for Mac-related problems, since I've never been able to spend more than five minutes on one without wanting to throw it out the window. However, "some of my best friends are Mac users" and they insist that no Mac has ever caused a problem for anybody anywhere. (Raises eyebrows.)

If you're not sure if I can help or not, send the question anyway! If it's out of my league, I'll be sure to let you know. (But I'm also so stubborn, that I'll probably give it a pretty good shot before I do.)
