Facebook Moved Their Applications Links Again

In several previous posts, I've referenced the Applications link at the bottom left of the Facebook page. If you click it, it opens a menu that lists many of the applications that you've installed to your account (or that were installed by default, like Groups, Pages, and Photos). At the top of that menu were links to Edit the settings for these apps as well as a link to Find More, which took you to a page where you could find other ones that you might want to install.

Well, they're not there anymore.

Instead, now they're at the bottom of the menu. They've also changed "Find More" to "Browse More Applications."

Now, you may be thinking that it's no big deal. While this change doesn't seem to have any advantages to it (feel free to let me know if I'm wrong about that) but there doesn't seem to be any disadvantages to it either, right? Ummmm... sadly, no.

The problem is that if you have a long list of applications installed (and who doesn't?), you don't see these new links unless you scroll to the bottom of the list. So when you first click the Applications link, it just looks like they're gone altogether.

Sigh.

Note: You can also get to the page to edit your existing apps from the Settings > Application Settings link at the top of the page. However, I'm not aware of any other way to get to the page where you can look for new ones. If you know of another way to get there, please do let me know and I'll update this page.
