In my earlier update about Facebook usernames, I noted that Pages that have fewer than 1,000 fans would be eligible to register for a username as of today. I just tried to sign up for one for a Page I administer and it's still telling me I'm ineligible.
Also, at some point since Friday (when I checked this in response to a reader question), they have added a new criteria for eligibility—Pages must now have at least 25 fans. You'll see this new restriction if you click on the second question on this Facebook Help page.
When I see that the registration is working, I'll post another update.

Update 12:30 p.m. PDT
Mashable is suggesting that since individual Facebook users who joined after June 9th will be eligible to sign up for a username as of 11:59 PDT EDT tonight, that will be the same time that Pages administrators will be able to register for one. Makes sense.
Update 3:40 p.m. PDT
Okay, now they're officially out of control. The help file now says Pages need to have at least 100 fans before they can get a username. I took a screenshot this time in case it changes again.

Still not live yet.
Update 9:25 p.m. PDT
It went live around midnight as suspected. Good luck!
