After thinking about it for a while, I finally started blogging very recently (9 days ago, in fact), using Blogger. I also stated using Twitter about a week before. Following tech types on Twitter has led me to WordPress as an likely future direction for my blog… in fact I reckon I’ll move to WordPress within a month. I’ve seen books on WordPress and looking at the summaries I can see there is huge scope for sophisticated web sites. I’m still on a massive learning curve with blogging and how to maximise the personal and professional networking opportunities it offers.

I think that starting a blog is a good topic for your next series topic. I’ll be honest – I was a little slow to jump on the blogging bandwagon, but I’m glad that I did. The blog has given me some exposure, and it has helped me build my professional network. I even received a job offer because of my blog.
