i need you to help me so i can have more friends without adding i mean like a trick so when people see my profile they see that i have many friends annd be shock and things like that ! >> okay anyone tell me please if there is a way to do this ! A common issue most people have is that they want their feeds to be de-cluttered. In other words, void of irrelevant content. On the news feed, in the opinion of some, game application updates are irrelevant(i.e. "Suzy Q just harvested 10 pumpkins"/ "Matt just took out the Yakuza with his Mafia", etc.).

Ruth, to see your friend lists, click on Friends in the left-hand nav bar and it will expand to show you all your lists. To see all your friends, click on the Account link at the top right, then Edit Friends. Then click on Friends in the left-hand area. BTW, I'm not saying this is a good way to do this -- just letting you know the way to find them now.

My FRIENDS list cannot be gotten because of the recent change. Why must you mess with something that would take away the friends list.
The connection list does not always show------DUH---DUH
How can this possibly be considered BETTER? Viewers do not like changes they have sprung on them-----why not bring these fiture changes to a vote??????

Sharon, I don't think there's any way to prevent your status updates from showing up on other people's home pages or what you write on other people's Walls. But you can prevent other types of content -- Links, Notes, games info, etc. by going to Settings > Application Settings and clicking Edit Settings beside each application. (Unfortunately, there's no global setting.) When the window pops up, there's usually a tab for Additional Permissions. That has an option called Publish to Streams. If you turn that off, it won't show up in other people's news feeds. You also can't control the info that gets posted automatically by Facebook, like X became a friend of Y, or A commented on B's post.

How do you keep your posts from showing up on News Feed or Live Feed? I do want friends to see what I post on my profile - when they go to my profile - but I don't necessarily want them to get live feed or news feed on what I'm doing or whose wall I am writing on. Is it possible?

Okay, here's a thought. What browser are you using? I recently saw a note on Facebook on Internet Explorer that it wasn't supporting my version anymore and then there were a couple of times when it said it couldn't even find Facebook. I also saw a note in the Help files from someone who was having a problem seeing some types of content in their news feed who said it was fixed when he upgraded to version 8. So if you're on IE, you might want to try that.

Hmmm... I'm not sure, but one thing I would do is go to your News Feed view and click the Edit Options box at the bottom of the page to see if they've accidentally been hidden. (You won't see Pages in the Edit Options box on the Live Feed page.)

I'll see if I can find anything else. I know FB is constantly changing stuff behind the scenes that affects some people, but not all, and they frequently go back to normal within a day or two. Not sure if that applies in your case or not.

a few weeks ago I thot I discovered that by ramping up the # in my Friends box in the Edit Options that all the Pages I subscribe to would also show up on my Live Feed page ... now they are not. I would like them too - ideas? Thanks :)
